I felt I had let myself go so much that there was no coming back. I was depressed and anxious and stressed. I had gained a lot of weight and was completely sedentary being exhausted and unmotivated from the time my alarm went off in the morning. I decided to hire a trainer to whip me into real shape and I was introduced to Jamie when she was at Golds. Jamie listened to me and heard me. I felt as though she cared and wanted to make the transition to a healthy lifestyle as easy as possible. I am in much better shape and feel physically and mentally much better now. I look forward to every training session with Jamie and have learned so much from her. I'm more confident and feel enabled to make better choices in my daily life.

Hi there! I'm Jamie Bullard

Corrective Exercise Specialist & Nutritionist

Due to 4 difficult pregnancies, I ended up gaining 45 pounds. After my last child I was determined to get my body back. I decided to join the local gym and every morning I was there between 4:45 and 5:30 am taking classes before the kids woke up and was consistent for 6 months.

I created a nutrition meal and exercise plan for myself. At the time, I kept hearing moms and women making excuses as to why they were carrying around extra weight due to having children.

I was determined to not be that mom, not to have that excuse! I wanted to prove that you can get your body back with consistency and a plan, even though I was unsure of myself at the time. Six months later I lost 20 lbs of fat and gained healthy muscle. I lost all my weight on the scale and looked and felt my best!

Being a busy mom and looking for outlets in my community I joined a mom’s group. This group didn’t have a fitness component and had asked me if I would be interested in creating one after learning my story and knowing that I loved to workout. The group allowed me to be innovative.  

Knowing my own struggle of balance, work, life and family, I created two components: 

1. You must keep moving even if it is walking with your kids. 

2. You must do something for yourself you enjoy outside of family.
